Graebel
shown at
approximately a year of age
Graebel finished with a five point Best of Winners!
Also garnered a Group II from the 6-9 puppy classes
Graebel is a gentle, loving, dignified boy with an outstanding, tight pedigree.
He has a beautiful head & expression, with eyes and a stop many breeders
would give their right arms for. In addition, he has gorgeous structure &
movement, and correct coat. Graebel
has a very appealing masculine personality, is willing to do whatever
you ask of him, and is a nice, steady boy. He enjoys going for rides
with me in the truck, where he stands on the back seat and rests his head on my
shoulder. He loves running in the ball field with the other dogs, where he
vies for the front dog position and grins as only shelties can do.
After
just a short time with us he was already very devoted. Whether flirting with me, gently tugging on my skirt or sleeves to get my attention,
snoozing on my bed, or playing "get the
feet"
with the other dogs, he never fails to bring a smile to my face.

I
very much enjoyed showing him at the 2004 National, where he made the cut in
open sable and was positioned in the final lineup in fourth place by Judge
Shelby Price -- edged out at the last moment by a beautiful client dog shown by
Graebel's co-owner, Mark Hersman! Ahhh... so close!
Graebel was
Winners Dog at four
of the six Whitehorse shows in June 2005. Since he was down in the Pacific
NW, I decided to send him to a weekend of shows in British Columbia with
professional handler, Penny King. She
handled him beautifully -- he is now a Canadian champion as
well!

The final two points...
Thank you, Penny, for your lovely presentation of our boy!
Even out of coat, he looks rather handsome!

Special thanks to

Graebel's AKC championship.
And a special thank
