Miss Shiloh, my beautiful, accomplished girl...

Shiloh won a 5 point specialty major under Judge Bernadette Biasi,
going Best Opposite Sex over a Best in Show bitch special at eleven months of age from the puppy class.  She followed that up with a National placement and a Best in Sweepstakes, and another 5 point specialty major (and Best Bred By) under Judge David Calderwood at 17 months of age.  At the 2008 National, she made it to the final eight in bred-by, and in June '08, Shiloh finished with her third 5 point specialty major under Judge Chuck Murray.  She topped that off with a prestigious Best of Breed under breeder Judge Melanie Williams at the Alaska Herding Group Specialty.

2006 ASSA National -- April 2006
This girl gets better and better all the time!

"A sable not in full bloom, but, her head detail and ear set overcame her lack of coat.  She is one that just caught your eye.

Best in Sweepstakes under Judge Tina Oswald
THANK YOU!!!

Shiloh was shown at the 2006 ASSA National in the 12-18 bitch futurity class.  I was nervous about her close fitted coat next to all the bloomy girls, but as we moved into the ring, I noticed that she was moving exceptionally well that day.  She showed like a champ, doing everything right.  After all the bitches had been examined and moved, the judge came down the line and looked at each dog.  Then she crooked her finger at me and asked me to take Shiloh for an additional down and back.  Astonished and very excited, we complied.  The next bitch to be pulled was the spectacular Ch. Montage Grandgables Beyonce, and then three others.

When the judge began moving between Shiloh and Beyonce, it became obvious that she was trying to decide between them for first place.  Looking at Ch. Beyonce, with her incredible coat and gorgeous outline, I couldn't help but think she would take it, and indeed, she did!  But just the fact that Shiloh was considered for first place at all, stacked next to such a stunning bitch, was incredible.  Even better, Beyonce went on to win Best Opposite Sex on Saturday -- she is truly a beautiful example of the shetland sheepdog.

Ch. Simmore Master Plan x Westar's Callalilly (Blake daughter)

Shiloh is Wyndsong's first homebred champion -- she earned her Canadian championship in June 2005 at seven months of age (and four days) with a three point BOW, and two four point BOW/BOS wins over a special.  Many thanks to Judges Denise Cornelssen, Judy Shurb and F.M. Butch MacDonald for recognizing her quality and potential.  Thanks also for all the nice compliments!  She beautifully combines the best qualities of her lineage.

This little girl is a beautiful blend of the Westar and Simmore look, with a high concentration of Ch. Halstor's Peter Pumpkin ROM and Ch. Benayr Here Comes Trouble ROM behind her.  She also enjoys a significant concentration from Ch. Kylene Cindahope Town Cryer ROM and further back, Ch. September Rainmaker ROM.   She is fortunate to have strong female lines behind her, including her great-granddam, the exquisite BISS Ch. Fairwyn Westar's Essence ROM.

Thank you, Mark Hersman, for sharing Shiloh's dam with me.  She is a beautiful bitch in herself, and is passing along the wonderful head qualities your lines are known for.
